Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet

The Lenovo X220 Tablet has only been here for a few hours and even though this is a pre-production machine I can already tell you that this is an impressive table computer in more ways than one.

Is it possible to have the performance and features of a full powered powered windows 7 notebook in a Tablet PC? The answer is yes. With the Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet you have all of the features of a laptop plus all the features of a Tablet including, touch, pen & ink in one sturdy machine.

Now add an amazing display and battery life that can take you from day into night and from coast to cost on a cross country or trans atlantic flight (9 hours with a 6 cell battery and up to 18 hours with the 6 Cell battery combined with the ThinkPad external battery pack) and you have everything you need for work or play in with the Lenovo X220 Tablet.

The 12.5 inch The IPS display is the same screen technology found in the Apple iPad, which means that the screen quality is bright, crisp, clean and as you can see in the photo above the depth of color is amazing.

Like all of the Lenovo tablets before it the X220 Tablet is well built, feel and sturdy when your holding it and includes a pen with an eraser. Pen feel is smooth and accurate, touch works well and as stated above the IPS screen is beautiful. I'm looking forward to watching a movie on the X220 Tablet the next time i fly across the country.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet weighs in at 3.88 lbs so it can go anywhere you do without weighing you down and is powerful enough for anything you need to do including movie & graphics editing. The X220 Tablet is running Windows 7 professional so you can install and use all of the programs that you normally use on a regular basis. Microsoft word, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash all run flawlessly.

3 USB 2.0 ports (1 Always On port) allow you to transfer your photos and documents to the X220 Tablet Pc with ease and if your photos are crisp and clean to begin with photos literally "POP" off the screen when your viewing them.

The Lenovo X220 Tablet is capable of fulfilling everyone's needs and making everyone happy making everyone happy. Road warriors, Students, corporate executives, stay at home moms, It has everything you need for work or play, from coast to cost no mater who you are or what you do.
The X220 is a convertible Tablet which gives you the convenience of a laptop and the features of a tablet so if your in the market for one machine that do it all this one is definitely worth waiting for.
