A Peek at the New Tablet Input Pannel (Tip) from Loanstar

The Microsoft's Tablet PC kiosk at the Consumer Electronics Show was a VERY busy place, making it hard to get a photos but here is a shot of the New Tip from Loanstar, the new version of its Windows operating system that is ecpected to be released in June. Loanstar will be a Free upgrade for existing users.
Microsoft is looking for Developers intrested in being a part of the alpha/beta phases of Loanstar, for those of you who are intrested I will post an email address for you to write to for consideration in this process. Please remember requests to participate will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Fujitsu is releasing the 12-inch Stylistic ST5000 Tablet PC , a slate-style tablet that runs Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. The device uses a 1-GHz Intel Pentium M processor and has a Smart Card slot plus MemoryStick/SD media slot. It comes with Gigabit Ethernet LAN support and has several WLAN options. According to Fujitsu, the ST5000's larger-than-standard battery supports up to 5 hours of operation; an even bigger high-capacity battery that runs for up to 8 hours is available as an option.
